Erica is co-Founder of UNICEF’s Innovation Unit, which identifies, prototypes and scales technologies and practices to benefit children around the world. Examples of her team’s work include RapidPRO – a messaging system that connects over 3 million young people across 34 countries to their government for change. Today, her focus is on building partnerships in technology growth areas that can deliver positive impacts across the world, including artificial intelligence, wearables and sensors; identity systems; and blockchain.
